Rotary Young Writer Competition
The Rotary Club of Evesham, which is this year celebrating seventy years of serving the local community, invited pupils from the First/Junior schools in the Evesham area to enter this year's Young Writer competition. This is organised by Rotary Nationally and the theme this year was "My Inspiration". Pupils had to either write or type up to 500 words or one side of A4 on this topic.
The Evesham Club judged the local entries and all entrants received a certificate from the club at the presentation event, held at Cropthorne, with Charlton CE First School. The judges found it difficult to select a winner, but Rotary is delighted to announce the winner, Chloe Seabright from the Charlton CE school. She received an Amazon voucher as her prize; her entry will now go into the Rotary District Competition.
